Good morning gardeners. Not much to report for the next few weeks other than to remind you that despite us not partaking in the usual ‘Garden Centre’ Christmas hype, you can find sensible garden related gifts.
Avoid the tinsel & fairy light isles found in most centres at this time of year & browse instead great gift ideas for growing enthusiasts. You can’t really go far wrong with a nice pair of gardening gloves as we all ‘get through’ them. We have a great selection of qualities & budgets.
A quick note to say that we are running low on primulas in pots but we do have some in packs of 10 plants for only £3.49, mixed colours.
Also from tomorrow there will be a daily alphabetical advent style post which will count us down to Boxing Day. These will be released automatically from the 1st to the 26th even after we close on the 18th of December. They will feature a botanically named plant with a breakdown of how to pronounce it.
November gardening jobs list on our website will be updated to Decembers list later today for a bit of inspiration.
That is all for now. Happy Gardening Everyone.

Not many Garden Centres can boast over ninety years of history, and yes, we have seen many changes over that period. Indeed change will continue as we strive always to supply the best in plants and facilities. One thing, however, will never change:
The core philosophy first introduced by Archibald John Mills way back in 1928 remains - the philosophy that built the company’s reputation, sustains it now, and will guide it in the future:
The best way to keep gardeners happy is to offer them plants of the highest quality, sold at reasonable prices.Read more
